Pentecost Sunday is significant Sunday because It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and other disciples following the Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus Christ (Acts of the Apostles, chapter 2), and it marks the beginning of the Christian church's mission to the world.Red is for Pentecost Sunday, but may also be used for ordinations, church anniversaries, and memorial services for ordained clergy. Pentecost is a Christian holy day that celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit 40 days after Easter. Originally, Pentecost was a Jewish holiday held 50 days after Passover, one of three major feasts during the Jewish year, it celebrated Thanksgiving for harvested crops. The meaning of Pentecost in the Bible is Fifty days after Easter, literally as the Birthday of the Church. Pentecost literally means “50”It is the Celebration of  the day the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles, causing them to speak in tongues

Pentecost Sunday determined like the dates of most other moveable feasts, the date of Pentecost Sunday depends on the date of Easter. Pentecost always falls 50 days after Easter (counting both Easter and Pentecost), but since the date of Easter changes every year, the date of Pentecost does as well.

On this day Mother Mary also received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Moreover, according to the same Luke, "they were all filled with the Holy Spirit" in the upper room in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:4). She was also in the upper room.

The word Pentecost means 1.shavuot. 2 : a Christian feast on the seventh Sunday after Easter commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles. Pentecost is a spiritual movement. Pentecostalism or Classical Pentecostalism is a Protestant Christian movement that emphases direct personal experience of God through baptism with the Holy Spirit. It is distinguished by belief in the "baptism in the Holy Spirit" that enables a Christian to "live a Spirit-filled and empowered life".

Speaking in Tongues a language , also known as glossolalia, is a practice in which people utter words or speech-like sounds, often thought by believers to be languages unknown to the speaker. Glossolalia is practiced in Pentecostal and charismatic Christianity, as well as in other denominations.

Why do Pentecostals say Holy Ghost? "We aren't really a denomination. The Pentecostal experience is an experience you received, and it happened on the day of Pentecost when more than 120 were filled with the Holy Ghost." The day celebrates the story of the Holy Spirit descending on Jesus's disciples 50 days after his death and giving them the gift of tongues.

Why do Pentecostals fall to the floor? Slain in the Spirit or slaying in the Spirit are terms used by Pentecostal and charismatic Christians to describe a form of prostration in which an individual falls to the floor while experiencing religious ecstasy. Believers attribute this behavior to the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecostals believe you have to speak in tongues according to Acts Chapter 2."All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability." ... Speaking in tongues is the "initial physical evidence" that a person has been baptized in the Holy Spirit, according to Pentecostal tradition.
